Naturecan's Goal

Naturecan, founded in May 2019 by Andy Duckworth, the former CEO of Myprotein, and Paul Finnegan, is a global wellness brand focused on offering safe, effective and premium hemp-derived CBD products as well as additional supplements such as vitamins and minerals. The company’s primary goal is to create products that help people to lead happier and healthier lives.

Product quality, customer safety and supply chain transparency

Naturecan offers an extensive and exclusive range of quality CBD products and supplements. With websites live in over 30 countries worldwide, we use our global reach to deliver the potential benefits of CBD to a growing customer base.

All of Naturecan’s products are created using industry-leading technology and undergo rigorous testing practices with third parties in order to ensure product quality, customer safety and supply chain transparency.

Our CBD oil is a broad-spectrum distillate, with non-detectable levels of THC (0.01%). It is derived exclusively from certified organic US-grown hemp plants, which means that we never use isolates or any man-made synthetic material, and only ever use natural, plant-based CBD.

Our supply chain partners have invested in market-leading extraction and purification technologies (see our Quality Assurance page for more information). With their help, we have created a wide range of products to help consumers find a healthy, safe and effective solution to their needs.

OUR ACI MEMBERSHIP

Naturecan was delighted to join the Association for the Cannabinoid Industry (ACI) and the Centre for Medicinal Cannabis (CMC), as this will ensure that our products are fully certified and regulated, and that we are continuously manufacturing the highest quality CBD products available on the market, without compromise.

When did we join? Naturecan joined the ACI in 2019, a move which reinforces our commitment to supply chain transparency, as well as our proactive compliance with the FSA’s recent regulatory statement, which gave clarity to the UK’s CBD industry.

Naturecan are well-positioned to complete the process of novel food approval, and with the support of ACI, will reinforce their position as safe, high quality product innovators within the CBD space.

TIGRR

In June 2021, the Taskforce on Innovation, Growth and Regulatory Reform (TIGRR) delivered its recommendations to the UK government for reshaping regulation in the cannabis sector. The report called for the separation of the medicinal benefits of cannabinoids from the criminal law linked to banned cannabis-derived substances, a move which would aid the growth of the nutraceutical and cannabinoid sectors, and boost investment and innovation within the UK.
